Inscape at the Royal Hobart Hospital — Hobart, 2021/2022

Claire worked as artist in residence at the Royal Hobart Hospital with Inscape Tas. Inscape Tas enriches the healthcare experience by supporting Tasmanian artists and musicians to lead inspiring and inclusive arts initiatives within health settings.

Tiapapata Arts Centre — Tiapapata, 2019

In Samoa Claire developed new works, ran art workshops for the community and created a large hanging mobile, designed for the high ceilings of the arts centre’s gallery space.

Contemporary Art Tasmania — Hobart, 2017

Claire was a studio resident at Contemporary Art Tasmania for 1 year. During her residency she developed work for Some Stars Wobble, At the Bottom of an Ocean of Air, Clouds of a Chaotic Sky and Blue Dot.

Awesome Arts Creative Challenge — Coolgardie, 2017

Claire completed a 1-week residency with Coolgardie Primary School in Western Australia. With fellow artist Michelle Grimston, Claire facilitated process driven workshops with children in the school, developing artworks that celebrate their unique identity and the community in which they live.

Awesome Arts Creative Challange — Bunbury, 2015

Claire completed a 1-week residency with Djidi Djidi Primary School in Western Australia for the Awesome Arts Creative Challenge. With fellow artist Dan Macnish, she ran workshops with children in the school, looking at place and belonging.

Studio Kura — Itoshima, 2015

Claire spent 2 months with Studio Kura in Japan. During the residency she developed a new body of work that explored tea and biology.
